"This 2 bedroom unit is FANTASTIC! Beautiful views and a living area
and deck that are unbeatable. The ocean view of boats passing by gives
a feeling of serenity and relaxation. It is the perfect place for a
family or group of friends to gather. Everything about the home is
perfect. The setting, views, decorating, and attention to detail is
over the top. Cooking meals for a big group was even fun with the
kitchen to work in and the wonderful appliances to work with. We
definately want to come back again. Donna has been great at handling
all the details and accommodating all questions right away. We hope to
be able to take the sailing trip in San Diego Harbor next time we are

Our Encinitas vacation rental next to Moonlight Beach. You can see
the lifeguard stands from both the living room and patio.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and highly upgraded. The
kitchens are custom, including custom cabinetry and granite, stone or
wood floors, and are fully-appointed. The lower units have large
courtyards in both the front and back (The rear is 45 ft to 50 ft
wide! Great for kids and pets!), with cobblestone pavers and lovely
gardens filled with gardenias, hibiscus, bougainvillea and giant birds
of paradise. Spacious private decks on the upper levels provide
plenty of outdoor space and sweeping views of the water and beach.
Views! Views! Views! Unlike many oceanside properties (no view due to
the width of the beach) you have amazing views day and night from each
Casa indoors or out!
We have a premium location across from a beautiful large beach
(Moonlight Beach) The view is particularly lovely at night with the
bon fires on the beach below.
Watch the boats pass by from the comfort of your living room, and of
course, from your large private front courtyard or decks (upper
levels) which are great for outdoor dining. The courtyards are covered
and walled (with bougainvillea, star jasmine, and gardenias) on both
sides offering a feeling of privacy and unmatched coziness while
enjoying the gorgeous full bay and beach views.

Located on Moonlight Beach in Encinitas this Beachfront property perfectly situated overlooking this famous beach and a perfect view of the waves and surfers...and it's just Two Blocks from the famous Encinitas Restaurants!

In
addition to our bay beachfront location, the property is one short
block from the ocean boardwalk, pier, and walking distance to many
restaurants with a variety of fare including Mexican, Seafood such as
the famous Crab Cooker, The Cannery, and Blue Water Grill, Italian,
Sushi, several upscale including 21 Ocean Front, and the famous Arches
Restaurant at it's new location in the Cannery area, and the "A
Restaurant", Tim Goodall's newest venture, at the Arches old location.
These San Diego vacation homes were recently extensively renovated. The floors are lovely travertine stone or
wood in the main living areas which are topped by sea grass rugs.
The decor is upscale beachy with white slip-covered furniture,
beautiful case pieces and beautiful artwork. It is painted in a soothing neutral palette
-- designed to enhance the lovely water view.
Most bedrooms are generous in size, with built-ins in the closets
eliminating the need for dressers that take up space. To add more of a
Caribbean feel, the closet doors are louvered (in some units) and
painted white against the neutral background. The master bedrooms have
sliding doors or French doors to a private rear courtyard with gardens
on the lower levels and to the front decks on the upper levels. The bathrooms are
beautifully done in marble, limestone, and travertine. One is
private to the master bedroom in each Casa.
Parking is not an issue. Each Casa has a garage and there is plenty of
metered (free at night) and non-metered parking.
Our lots are not typical beach lots. They are on 45 and 50
foot wide lots (most lots are 25 or 30 feet wide) so you don't have
that
"bowling alley" feel..in addition it gives you significantly more
outdoor
space with front bay/beach facing courtyards and private rear courtyards for
our
two bedrooms and large decks for our three bedrooms.
For those with children, weekly summer programs are held at our beach,
such
as sailing, sailing/tennis combo, kayak, and swimming (San Diego
has
won water quality control awards). Our beach, as well as our ocean beach,is tested each week.
Walk two blocks (grab a coffee and croissant on the way) to watch the
Dory fisherman bring in their catch each morning. The Dory fishing
fleet is a historical landmark formed in 1891 a full 15 years before
San Diego became a city! They are the only commercial fishermen
allowed to cast off from the beaches in their specially designed boats.
Upon returning, they sell their bounty out of old boats in this quaint
location steeped with history.
Walk or bike to Balboa Island, Lido, Cannery area (Blue Water Grill,
The Arches, Alta Cafe, and the Cannery restaurants plus small antique
and other shops, and the Fun Center located near the Pavilion.
Bring your fishing poles! There is a small bay dock two doors away for
fishing and loading/unloading of boat passengers. There are electric
and motor boats for rent at the Pavilion. Kayaks are available for rent
two blocks away next to the tot lot park with swings, slide, and jungle
gym. Don't forget your tennis rackets too! Free Courts are next
to the park.
The property is well maintained and always
super clean.
From the end of May to October, SDBFVR rents on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis only.
From the moment you walk through the Dutch door, you'll feel "at home", and
maybe a little pampered at the beach.
